Note that I'm assuming, here, that Windows properly detected the device, recognizes it as a "Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter", etc. Microphone Properties window will open, and on the Advanced tab check that it's 1 channel, 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality) or 48000 (DVD Quality) also, mine has both "Exclusive Mode" boxes checked on that tab.Įssentially, Windows had dumped my custom settings - probably due to USB and/or audio driver updates - so I had to go back through the config guide: I seem to vaguely recall that when I updated to 1709 I had to go into the Windows "Manage Audio Devices" (Sound Control Panel), go to the Recording tab - verify that it shows up as "Microphone - Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter", set it as the Default Device (at least temporarily), Then select the "Properties" button. Look the same, file version 4.1 Okay - not sure if this is the issue, but it's worth a shot.
