![]() The firmware of the card to its latest version but there is still no luck. ![]() I also tried to run the FixIt package from Support site and it just reinstall the driver for the controller but not the root hub. I tried to unplug and re-insert the card into the slot and the sequence of events just simply repeat. The controller also stops working as a result. However, after roughly a few seconds, the xHCI root hub simply disappear from the list and the opened dialogue box showed the device is disconnected but it is clearly sitting in the slot firmly. When I first insert it into the Expresscard slot, Windows automatically installs the Controller and root hub drivers and the device starts and device manager did not report a problem. However, I have problem starting the device and getting it to work. ![]() Recently, I purchased an Expresscard 54 USB3.0 expansion card to add more USB3.0 ports to my X230t Thinkpad.
